Trent Barret played 199 games between The Dragons and Steelers, scoring 77 tries and 5 field goals. Barret also made 11 appearances for New South Wales and 13 for Australia.

 
Nathan Blacklock
Nathan Blacklock
 Nathan Blacklock played 137 games for The Dragons  scoring 120 tries . Blacklock also made 5appearances for New South Wales. Blacklock was the NRL's lead top try scorer in 1999,2000 and 2001. Blacklock  forced into retirement due to a chronic knee injury.

Nathan Brown
  Nathan Brown  played 172 games and coached 142 between The Dragons, scoring 32 tries. Brown was forced into an early retirement due to a neck injury. At the end of the 2008 season he was replaced as coach by Wayne Bennet.

  
Matt Cooper
Matt Cooper
Matt cooper has played 235 games so far for The Dragons, scoring 122 tries. Cooper has also made 13 appearances for New South Wales and 7 for Australia. Cooper was part of the 2010 side that beat Sydney in the Grand Final and also the side that beat Wigan in the 2011 World Club Challenge. Cooper will retire at the end of 2013.

 
 
Mark Gasnier
Mark Gasnier\
Mark Gasnier played 174 games for The Dragons, scoring 92 tries. Gasnier also made 12 appearances for New South Wales and 15 for Australia. Gasnier left The Dragons at the end of the 2008 season to play Rugby Union but came back in 2010 and was part of the side that beat Sydney in the Grand Final. Gasnier then went on to retire at the end of 2011. Mark is also the nephew of Reg Gasnier.

Reg Gasnier
Reg Gasnier played 125 games for The Dragons between 1959-1967, scoring 127 tries. Reg Gasnier played in six Grand Final winning games For The Dragons. Gasnier was forced into an early retirement with a broken leg. Gasnier was named in the Immortals along with Raper, Churchill and Fulton. In 2007 Gasnier was named in the Australian team of the 50's.
 
Ben Hornby
Ben Hornby
Ben Hornby played 272 games for The Dragons making him the most capped player of the joint venture. Hornby scored 58 tries for The Dragons and represented New South wales 3 times and Australia once. Hornby captained The Dragons to their first Premiership win in 31 years in 2010. Hornby retired at the end of the 2012 season.
 
Graeme Langlands
Graeme Langlands
Graeme Landlands played 227 games for The Dragons and was the goalkicker in the latter half of their 11 consecutive premierships. Langlands represented New South wales 33 times and played 34 games for Australia. In 1999 Langlands and Wally Lewis were named as the fifth and sixth Rugby League Immortals.
